Responsible Gaming
Play Responsibly
Gambling should always be a form of entertainment, not a way to earn money or solve financial problems. Never gamble with money you cannot afford to lose. Set limits for yourself and stick to them.
Age Verification
You must be at least 18 years of age to gamble in Canada, or the legal age required by your province or territory (19 in British Columbia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan, and Yukon). It is illegal for anyone under the legal age to gamble. We strongly encourage parents to use filtering software to prevent underage access.
Warning Signs of Problem Gambling
If you recognize any of the following behaviours in yourself or a loved one, it may be time to seek help:
- Chasing losses – trying to win back money you’ve lost.
- Hiding gambling activity from family or friends.
- Spending more time or money on gambling than intended.
- Borrowing money or selling possessions to gamble.
- Neglecting work, school, or family responsibilities due to gambling.
- Feeling anxious, guilty, or depressed about gambling.
- Lying about wins and losses.
- Being unable to cut back or stop gambling.
Self-Help Tools
Many online casinos offer tools to help you stay in control of your gambling. These may include:
- Deposit limits – set a maximum amount you can deposit per day, week, or month.
- Loss limits – set a maximum amount you are willing to lose.
- Reality checks – reminders that pop up during play showing how long you have been gambling.
- Self-exclusion – temporarily or permanently block yourself from accessing a gambling site.
We encourage you to use these tools and to contact customer support if you need help setting them up.
